Let's get "gingey" with it... this light and refreshing cocktail recipe is one you want to have one hand all summer long!

2 oz. Blanco Tequila

1.5 oz Grapefruit Juice

.5 oz. House Made Ginger Syrup

.5 oz. Limes Juice

2-3 oz. Soda Water

Mint Leaves

Put mint and House Made Ginger Syrup into the bottom of a shaker tin, with a muddler, or base of a wooden spoon, press the mint lightly to release the oils in the leaves.

Add the tequila, grapefruit and lime juices in with the mint and ginger to the bottom of the shaker.

Fill shaker completely full of ice and put the small shaker tin on top. Give it a good smack to make sure the times are sealed tightly.

Shake the tins vigorously above your shoulders with the gaps of the shaker tins pointed towards your face.

Shake for 10 – 15 seconds or until the tins start to frost on the outside.

Using a tall Collins glass, (12 – 15oz.), fill it to the top with ice.

Make sure that when you break the shakers apart that all the liquid is in the big shaker tin side.

Using your hawthorn strainer on the tin with all the liquid strain your cocktail into the Collins glass with the ice and top off the drink with soda water.

Garnish your drink with a mint bouquet and slice of grapefruit, and serve it with a straw.
